Manu Sánchez criticizes media coverage of Ceuta migration crisis
During the season premiere of ‘El perro andaluz’, presenter Manu Sánchez delivered a monologue addressing the migration crisis in Ceuta. Sánchez criticized political parties for using the situation as an electoral tool and rejected the use of bellicose language regarding migrants.
Sánchez also targeted specific media personalities, including Ana Rosa Quintana, Carmen Porter, and Iker Jiménez, for traveling to the autonomous city to cover the crisis. He argued that residents' calls for more resources refer to actual solutions and security personnel rather than media presence. He characterized the arrival of these communicators as sensationalist, stating, “More media yes, but fewer vultures too.”
