Manuel Alejandro del Rosario wins II Seas and Oceans Prize

Manuel Alejandro del Rosario has been awarded the II Seas and Oceans Prize as part of the Cortes de Cádiz Awards for his work ‘La Constitución del Mar’. The jury praised the piece for its balance of quality, originality, coherence, and documentary rigor, noting its connection to the city of Cádiz. The award includes a cash prize of 10,000 euros.

Additionally, Sonia Blanco Marín received an honorable mention for her audiovisual work, ‘Cádiz en el corazón del mar’, recognized for its informative nature and vision regarding marine sustainability. This edition of the prize shifted its focus from recognizing maritime careers to valuing works that contribute to the knowledge, protection, conservation, or sustainable development of the seas and oceans.
