Manuel Andrés González seeks re-election as PP president of Huelva

Manuel Andrés González has announced his candidacy for re-election as the president of the Partido Popular (PP) in Huelva. Having held the position since 2008, González is seeking a fifth term during the upcoming XVII Provincial Congress.

In a video shared on social media, González stated his intention to “close the circle” and contribute to the party's efforts to reach the Spanish national government. He noted the current political context in the province, where the PP governs the Provincial Council.

The XVII Provincial Congress is scheduled for November 28 at the Espacio Santa Fe in Huelva and will involve 830 delegates. An organizing committee has been established, led by president Alberto Fernández, with Felipe Arias as vice president and Carmen Céspedes as secretary.

The election process includes a period from September 28 to October 5 for submitting candidacies, followed by a period from October 8 to 15 for members to request participation as delegates.
