Manuel Aspidi releases Spanish version of debut single

Singer Manuel Aspidi has released “Solo a Mitad”, a Spanish-language version of his debut single “Soli a metà”. The new version was released on digital stores on September 14, 2026.

The original song, written by Salvatore Taormina and Giuseppina La Piana, was first performed by Aspidi on February 17, 2007, during the sixth edition of the talent show “Amici di Maria De Filippi”. At the time, Aspidi was 19 years old. The track became a significant part of his identity and was featured on the “Amici – Bianco & Blu” compilation, which reached first place on the Italian compilation charts in the spring of 2007.

The release of the Spanish version comes ahead of the 20th anniversary of his original performance on the television program. Aspidi has since expanded his career beyond the initial success of the talent show, working across various musical repertoires and international markets.
