Fatal accidents reported in Albania and Italy

Two separate fatal traffic accidents have been reported in Albania and Italy.

In Lezhë, Albania, a 50-year-old man identified as Sh. Gj. died after losing control of his moped on the Rrilë-Hidrovor road. Local police and an investigation team are working to determine the exact circumstances of the crash.

In Italy, 15-year-old Manuel Korreshi, an Albanian national and promising young footballer for AC Este, died following a collision while riding his bicycle. The accident occurred near Ponte di Barbarano on the Riviera Berica provincial road.

According to initial reports, a car traveling in the same direction struck the teenager during the early hours of Sunday. The driver reported being unable to see the cyclist due to heavy darkness. Despite being rushed to San Bortolo Hospital in Vicenza and receiving intensive pediatric care, Korreshi succumbed to his injuries. The Carabinieri are investigating the incident.
