Manuel Pellegrini celebrates Betis victory over Feyenoord

Real Betis manager Manuel Pellegrini expressed satisfaction following his team's victory against Feyenoord in the third round of the Champions League group stage. The win marks Betis' third consecutive victory in the competition.

Pellegrini praised his team's defensive performance, noting that the defensive line—including Fran Garcia, Bartra, Bellerin, and Marc Roca—performed flawlessly to maintain a clean sheet. He highlighted the team's high press during the first half, which prevented the opponent from establishing control.

The manager also addressed the recovery of player Isco, stating that his return to high form following a complicated injury is “wonderful news for the entire team.” Additionally, Pellegrini clarified that a substitution involving player Antony was purely tactical and that there was no conflict following the player's brief reaction to being replaced.
