Manuele Fior releases graphic novel adaptation of L’anomalia

Italian graphic novelist Manuele Fior is releasing a new graphic novel adaptation of Hervé Le Tellier’s Goncourt Prize-winning novel, ‘L’anomalia’. The work is being published in Italy by Oblomov Edizioni and in France by Gallimard.

The story follows passengers on a flight from Paris to New York whose lives are upended after encountering a mysterious turbulence. The aircraft lands months later, forcing the characters to confront the existence of their own doubles and the resulting cracks in human reality. Fior’s adaptation utilizes a nervous, immediate art style to explore philosophical themes of the ‘double’ through various character subplots.

Le Tellier is actively participating in the promotion of the adaptation, collaborating with Fior for public meetings and interviews.
