Manufacture La Joux-Perret upgrades machining workshop for growth
Manufacture La Joux-Perret, based in La Chaux-de-Fonds, has reorganized its machining workshop to accommodate double-digit growth. The company has implemented Fanuc Robodrill centers through developments by Walter Meier to improve precision, autonomy, and profitability.
As a subsidiary of the Japanese Citizen Group since 2012, the manufacturer employs 130 people and produces over 140,000 watch movements annually, ranging from solar quartz to mechanical complications. The new industrial strategy allows the facility to handle highly variable production volumes, ranging from small batches of fewer than 50 pieces to large orders of 1,500 units, without disrupting the main production flow.
