Manufacturing tech firms announce participation in JIMTOF 2026
Several companies specializing in manufacturing technology and digital transformation have announced their participation in JIMTOF 2026, the 33rd Japan International Machine Tool Show, scheduled for October 26–31, 2026, at Tokyo Big Sight.
Hantop Intelligence Tech., represented by Dynamic Tools Corporation, will showcase ultrasonic machining modules designed to be retrofitted onto existing CNC machines. These modules aim to improve the processing of difficult-to-cut and brittle materials, such as AlSiC heat sinks and quartz glass, by reducing cutting resistance and improving surface quality.
Takumi Giken Kogyo will present ‘Takumi Force,’ an AI-driven agent and core system designed to assist in the manufacturing estimation process. The technology aims to reduce reliance on individual expertise by using AI to propose estimates based on historical data, which human operators then review and refine.
Improbe will exhibit an updated version of ‘Sakusuma,’ a process management system compatible with smartphones and web browsers. The latest version features enhanced Gantt chart capabilities, allowing for simultaneous multi-user editing and flexible views tailored to different industry needs, such as large-scale machinery manufacturing or small-lot component processing.
