Manulife Asia and Ant Health sign MOU for cross-border healthcare

Manulife Financial Asia Limited (Manulife Asia) and AHA Healthcare Technology HK Limited (Ant Health) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to collaborate on healthcare services and technology. The partnership aims to streamline cross-boundary healthcare experiences by addressing fragmented processes that currently require manual coordination for patients.

The collaboration will initially focus on Hong Kong and Mainland China, exploring health management services such as case management, concierge support, medical networks, and patient services. Additionally, the companies plan to investigate insurance technology, digital health capabilities, and support for claims and payments. The framework is intended to have a regional scope, with the potential to expand to other Asian markets in the future.
