Manzanilla road access works begin in Huelva
The Diputación de Huelva has commenced construction on new access roads for the town of Manzanilla. The provincial administration is investing 328,000 euros through its ‘Tu Diputación Invierte’ program, which has a total budget of 23 million euros dedicated to improving infrastructure, public buildings, and paths across the province.
This provincial funding will be combined with an investment from the Junta de Andalucía to construct a new roundabout. Together, these projects represent a total investment of nearly one million euros aimed at enhancing road safety and improving connections via Calle Virgen del Pilar and the provincial road HU-6109, which links to Paterna del Campo.
Manuel Cayuela, the provincial deputy for Infrastructure, and Manzanilla Mayor Javier Serrano visited the site to mark the start of the works. Serrano described the project as a historic development that has been long requested by local residents.
