Mao releases electronic remix of Delta V’s “Wendy” with Tokyo-shot video

Italian singer‑songwriter Mao has produced a new remix of “Wendy”, a track by alternative band Delta V from their album “In fatti ostili”. The remix, scheduled for release on 31 July 2026, reworks the original with electronic and cinematic textures while preserving the band’s songwriting.

The accompanying video, directed by Nicolas Fransolet (Brussels‑born, Montreal‑based), was filmed in Tokyo and adds a visual narrative of urban movement. The collaboration continues a long‑standing artistic relationship: Mao opened Delta V’s recent tour, co‑wrote earlier songs, and previously appeared in their videos.
