Małopolska announces funding for local infrastructure and participatory budget

The Małopolska Voivodeship has launched two distinct initiatives to fund local development and community projects.

First, the Local Action Group Stowarzyszenie Korona Północnego Krakowa, in coordination with the Małopolska Voivodeship Board, has announced a call for applications to improve access to small public infrastructure. This program, part of the Common Agricultural Policy strategic plan for 2023–2027, aims to create or develop sites for socio-cultural activity. Eligible applicants include local government units and non-governmental organizations, provided the projects serve the local community, are non-commercial, and do not exceed a total cost of 1 million euros.

Second, the 10th edition of the Małopolska Voivodeship Participatory Budget is open for project submissions until October 30. Residents aged 16 and older can propose projects in areas such as education, culture, tourism, sports, ecology, and transport. A total of 16 million PLN is available for distribution. Each submitted proposal must receive support from at least 30 residents to be considered.
