Mapfre and M&G Investments report strong mid-year financial results

Mapfre reported a Solvency II ratio of 208.8% at the end of the first half of 2026, an increase from 206.8% in March and 205.3% in December 2025. The company stated that these figures reaffirm the group's financial strength, noting the level remains within the 175%-225% reference range set by its board. Admissible own funds reached 11,555 million euros as of June 30, 2026, with 84.2% classified as Level 1 high-quality funds.

M&G Investments reached 8,600 million euros in assets under management in Spain by the end of the first half of 2026, marking five consecutive years of growth. The firm's real estate division, M&G Real Estate, manages over 1,000 million euros across Spain and Portugal. Recent activities include a 239 million euro commitment to residential and delivering developments and the acquisition of the Travelodge Poblenou hotel in Barcelona for approximately 50 million euros.
