Rochester, MN reports multiple criminal arrests and sentencings

Several legal developments have occurred in Rochester, Minnesota, involving various criminal charges and sentencings.

An arrest warrant was issued for 46-year-old Charles Andrew Tewes after he failed to appear for a pretrial hearing. Tewes is accused of attempting to stab a man with a power drill bit during a burglary incident in March 2024.

In a separate incident, Michael Maurice Adams Jr., 40, faces a felony third-degree assault charge after a police officer witnessed him punch a man in downtown Rochester. The victim reportedly struck his head on the sidewalk and required hospitalization for head injuries.

Additionally, 51-year-old Troy Alvin Wagner has been sentenced to three years of probation following a juvenile sex solicitation sting. Wagner admitted to engaging in electronic communication describing sexual conduct with a child and is required to register as a predatory offender.
