Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling airs MLP Mayhem ahead of Northern Rising

Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling (MLP) recently aired its MLP Mayhem episode on TSN2, featuring several key match results. Nikki Storm defeated Dani Luna, and Rudra secured a victory over Vaughn Vertigo. In a five-on-five tag team main event, the team consisting of Dan Maff, Jonathan Gresham, Rohan Raja, Brent Banks, and Sheldon Jean defeated Billy Gunn, Neon, Psycho Mike, and the Sinner & Saint duo.

During the broadcast, Adam Copeland addressed a personal conflict with Steve Maclin, following Maclin’s recent legal issues involving an assault on a MLP official and medical staff. Additionally, Stu Grayson and Josh Alexander discussed their upcoming MLP Canadian title match scheduled for the Northern Rising event on October 3.

MLP founder Scott D’Amore recently shared insights into the company’s talent scouting process, noting that the organization relies on a mix of industry experts, word of mouth, and social media rather than a formal scouting team. D’Amore highlighted the contributions of individuals like Josh Alexander and wrestling historian Jamie Grier in helping identify talent across the Canadian wrestling scene.
