Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling announces three-part special for Northern Rising

Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling (MLP) has announced that its sold-out pay-per-view event, MLP Northern Rising, will be broadcast as a three-part television special. The series is scheduled to begin airing on Wednesday, October 14, on TSN, MyAEW, and Fight Nation.

The original event took place at Toronto’s Mattamy Athletic Centre, the former site of Maple Leaf Gardens. It was headlined by a Street Fight between Canadian wrestling legend Adam Copeland and Steve Maclin. The event also featured AEW National Champion Andrade El Idolo competing against Rohan Raja.

Following his match, Steve Maclin released a statement regarding his performance against Copeland, describing the experience as a childhood dream and expressing that he proved to himself that he belongs in the professional wrestling industry.
