Mapo-gu hosts youth exchange with Gochang County and launches creative arts camp

Mapo-gu and its sister city Gochang County welcomed 20 youths from each region for a three‑day exchange program. The event, part of a partnership established in 2018, began with a welcome ceremony and included tours of Hongdae, Mangwon Market and the Mapo 365 Observatory, as well as team‑building activities and cultural orientation at the Mapo Youth Cultural Center. Participants pledged mutual respect and ongoing cooperation.

Separately, Mapo‑gu announced a call for elementary‑school students to join a new creative‑arts camp, expanding its efforts to provide cultural and artistic opportunities for local youth.
