Mar Fuentes appointed president of Feneval

Mar Fuentes has been named the new president of the National Business Federation of Vehicle Rental with and without Driver (Feneval) during the FENEVAL 2026 Congress. She succeeds Ignacio Manzano, who held the position provisionally following the departure of Juan Luis Barahona.

Fuentes brings over three decades of experience in the mobility and vehicle rental industry. Her career includes leadership roles at Hertz Spain, where she served as Operations Director, and most recently as Operations Director for Record Go across various European markets. She has also held leadership positions in regional associations in Galicia and the Canary Islands.

Her mandate will focus on strengthening business cohesion, increasing dialogue with public administrations, and promoting a regulatory framework that recognizes the specific needs of the vehicle rental sector. Additionally, she aims to improve the public perception of the rent-a-car industry by highlighting its contribution to traveler mobility and territorial connectivity.
