Rosario Woman Fatally Stabbed; Suspect Detained
A 31‑year‑old woman, identified as Débora Giuliana Bordón, was found dead in an apartment on Crespo 516 in the Luis Agote neighbourhood of Rosario, Santa Fe. She had been stabbed in the neck; the body was wrapped in a sheet and discovered after neighbours heard cries for help. Police arrested the main suspect, 23‑year‑old Axel Alejandro M., who was identified as the victim’s boyfriend. He fled the scene but was captured a few hours later at the intersection of Pellegrini and Sarmiento while attempting to escape on foot. The case is being investigated as a femicide, with forensic evidence, a recovered knife and testimony from neighbours who heard the assault. Authorities are continuing to collect video footage and witness statements to build the prosecution’s case.
