María Galiana criticizes 'Cuéntame cómo pasó' role and quality

Actress María Galiana has sparked controversy among fans of the long-running Spanish television series ‘Cuéntame cómo pasó’ following recent remarks about her role and the show's quality.

In interviews marking the 25th anniversary of the series' premiere, the 91-year-old actress, known for her portrayal of the beloved character Abuela Herminia, stated that she never considered the series to be a good production. Galiana noted that while the show successfully utilized nostalgia and met audience desires, she personally did not find it to be a high-quality product.

Furthermore, Galiana expressed that the 22 years she spent performing in the series did not contribute much to her professional growth. She admitted that she never actually watched the show and expressed a desire to have focused more on film and other significant acting roles throughout her career.
