María Jesús Montero criticizes PP over allegations of political violence

María Jesús Montero, Secretary General of the PSOE-A, has denounced an increase in political violence and accused the People's Party (PP) of using dehumanization and lies to undermine the government of Pedro Sánchez. Speaking at a party event in Málaga, Montero addressed recent controversies involving Koldo García, a former advisor to the Ministry of Transport.

García has alleged that a lawyer for the PP offered up to one million euros, potentially channeled through the publisher of OkDiario, in exchange for information or false testimony against the President. Montero condemned these alleged attempts to obtain false testimonies.

The People's Party has rejected these accusations. Ester Muñoz, the PP spokesperson in Congress, denied that the party offered money to García, stating that judicial investigations into former socialist officials are not part of an organized operation by the PP.
