María José Quintanilla achieves record-breaking concert series in Chile
Chilean singer María José Quintanilla has become the first female Chilean artist to sell out three consecutive concerts at the Santander Arena in less than 30 days. The performances, held on October 4, 14, and 30, drew a total of more than 40,000 attendees in Santiago.
The concert series, titled “La Quintanilla, en vivo,” was inspired by her latest studio album released in May. During the final performance on October 30, the venue presented Quintanilla with “La Cúpula,” the highest honor awarded by the Santander Arena to artists who have achieved significant milestones in the venue's history.
Quintanilla joins a select group of artists, including Los Jaivas and Los Tres, who have received this distinction. Her success follows a rapid sell-out of the initial date, which prompted the addition of two subsequent shows.
