María José Quintanilla fails to reach agreement for Viña 2027

Negotiations for singer María José Quintanilla to perform at the 2027 Viña del Mar International Song Festival have reportedly failed due to budgetary disagreements.

According to reports from the Canal 13 program ‘¡Hay que decirlo!’, the impasse arose because Quintanilla’s team requested approximately $500 million CLP for her performance. The festival's organizing committee evaluated the proposal but ultimately declined it, stating the amount exceeded their established budget margins.

While Quintanilla has expressed public interest in returning to the Quinta Vergara stage, her participation for the 2027 edition currently appears unlikely unless both parties decide to renegotiate the financial terms.
