María José Quintanilla takes temporary leave from Mega programs

Chilean singer and presenter María José Quintanilla has announced a temporary departure from her hosting duties on the Mega television network. The absence is due to a scheduled vacation and upcoming musical commitments, including a performance at the Santander Arena on October 30.

Quintanilla announced the move during the program ‘Dale Play’, stating that certain matters required her “absolute attention.” To ensure continuity, she has appointed Joaquín Méndez to serve as the interim host. Méndez will cover 12 episodes of ‘Dale Play’ and two episodes of ‘Coliseo’ during her absence.

Quintanilla clarified that her departure is not permanent and expects to return to the screen within two weeks. She expressed gratitude for her time with the production team, describing the experience as a “beautiful journey.”
