Mara Lezama holds public hearing in Playa del Carmen

Governor Mara Lezama Espinosa held a public hearing titled ‘La Voz del Pueblo’ in Playa del Carmen to address community needs. The event, held at the Villas del Sol park, served over 1,200 people, including 739 women and 462 men.

Key services provided included land tenure regularization and the delivery of property titles to families, including residents of the Nicté Há neighborhood. Social assistance efforts, coordinated with the Quintana Roo DIF, involved the distribution of medical aids such as prosthetics, wheelchairs, walkers, canes, and eyeglasses. The session also addressed issues regarding electricity supply, health services, and social assistance.
