MasterChef Celebrity seasons spark ratings and tension

The new season of MasterChef Celebrity on Telefe, hosted by Wanda Nara, has drawn significant attention due to both its viewership ratings and various interpersonal conflicts among participants and judges.

In Argentina, the program saw high ratings during its premiere, peaking at 14.5 points. However, the season has been marked by tension, including a confrontation between participants La Negra Vernaci and China Ansa, and singer Luck Ra expressing intense frustration during a difficult culinary challenge. Additionally, commentator Yanina Latorre has criticized judge Maru Botana’s tasting methods.

In Chile, the launch of MasterChef Chile on TVN also faced friction. During a promotional event, host María Luisa Godoy intervened to defend judge Fernanda Fuentes after a participant made dismissive comments regarding her professional expertise.
