María Mirela transitions from hospitality to tailoring in Cangas del Narcea

María Mirela, a Romanian seamstress living in Cangas del Narcea, has successfully transitioned from a nine-year career in hospitality to running her own tailoring workshop. After completing professional training in cutting and sewing in Romania, she moved to Spain at age 20.

Now 40 years old, Mirela has operated her business for ten years. While she initially focused on clothing repairs, her workshop has evolved into a specialized space for custom design, including wedding dresses, bridesmaid attire, and traditional Asturian garments.
