Mara Sedini reaffirms support for President José Antonio Kast

Former Government Spokesperson Mara Sedini has reaffirmed her absolute support for President José Antonio Kast following a controversial interview. Despite recent criticism regarding her tenure at La Moneda, Sedini denied revealing strategic information or providing false details, suggesting that some of her statements were interpreted “de mala fe” (in bad faith).

Sedini offered a self-critique of her management, noting she should have defended a more authentic communication style and verified certain information more rigorously to avoid controversy. She emphasized that she maintains a close relationship with First Lady Pía Adriasola and intends to continue defending the administration's ideas from an independent position, while expressing concern over what she described as organized efforts by the left to attack the Kast government.
