María Soledad Calle admits to purchasing apartment in Cristina Kirchner’s building

María Soledad Calle, a union leader associated with La Cámpora and the Unión Obrera Metalúrgica (UOM), has admitted to Judge Julián Ercolini that she purchased an apartment in the same building as former President Cristina Kirchner. The property is located on the first floor of San José 1111, directly below Kirchner’s residence.

Calle’s legal defense stated that the acquisition was made with her own resources and was intended to serve as the headquarters for a foundation dedicated to studies on Argentine development. While the defense confirmed the purchase, they did not provide specific details regarding the foundation's name, characteristics, or planned activities.

The admission comes amid a judicial investigation into Calle’s assets to determine if her wealth aligns with her reported income. Investigators are also examining her ownership of vehicles, including a BMW held jointly with her partner, to verify the origin of her patrimony.
