Mara Venier faces technical issues during Domenica In premiere

The new season of the Italian television program Domenica In on Rai 1 experienced several technical difficulties during its premiere on September 27. Host Mara Venier faced issues with studio monitors and audio connectivity, particularly during a remote segment titled ‘Il pranzo della domenica’ featuring correspondent Savino Zaba in Calabria. During the broadcast, Venier was heard telling the production crew, “Non sento niente” (I can’t hear anything), as she attempted to communicate with guests.

In addition to audio and visual disruptions, musical performer Timothy Cavicchini experienced a microphone failure during a tribute to Laura Pausini. The technical glitches drew criticism from viewers on social media regarding the program's new format.

Amidst the broadcast, host Mara Venier discussed her personal connection to Naples, noting that despite being born in Venice, she has long supported the Napoli football club. Guest Laura Pausini responded by sharing her own sympathies for Napoli, despite being a supporter of AC Milan.
