Mara Venier purchases new villa in Fregene

Italian television presenter Mara Venier has purchased a new villa in Fregene to serve as a summer residence. The move follows a significant change in her lifestyle and travel habits due to the health challenges faced by her husband, Nicola Carraro.

Venier has transitioned from her multi-level penthouse in central Rome to a single-story apartment to better accommodate Carraro’s mobility needs. Additionally, the couple has moved away from their long-standing tradition of spending summers in Santo Domingo, as the long-distance travel became too taxing for Carraro. The new home in Fregene holds sentimental value, as it was a location where Carraro began his physical recovery.
