Maracaibo hosts ‘Venezuela es Esperanza’ art exhibition
The itinerant art exhibition ‘Venezuela es Esperanza’ is set to open at the Museo Maracaibo Centenario on September 17. Organized by the Fundación Cultural Raíces Creadoras and the Consorcio Universal de la Ciencia y Bellas Artes (CUCBA), the showcase features 42 works by 36 regional artists, including 33 from the Cabimas municipality.
The exhibition was established following the double earthquake that occurred on June 24. It aims to celebrate regional identity and resilience through art. The event will also include musical and poetic performances by violinist José Luis Ferrer and poet Yaneth Hernández. The exhibition previously received international endorsement from CUCBA in Mexico.
