Venezuela implements infrastructure recovery plans across multiple states

Under the ‘Plan Nacional Venezuela Renace’, various regional and national authorities in Venezuela are conducting extensive infrastructure rehabilitation projects across multiple states.

In Aragua, efforts are focused on repairing residential buildings and health centers damaged by a recent double earthquake. Inspections and restoration works are underway in the Girardot municipality, targeting residential complexes such as Abitare 2001, Vulcano, and Luis XV, as well as local medical clinics and public parks.

In Caracas, the Libertador municipality has deployed 171 simultaneous work fronts to reconstruct residential buildings, schools, and public spaces impacted by the same seismic activity. Priority is being given to high-vulnerability parishes including San Bernardino, Sucre, and 23 de Enero.

In Apure, road rehabilitation is progressing on Troncal 19. In the Muñoz municipality, crews have applied over 200 tons of hot asphalt to recover 500 linear meters of road connecting Mantecal to La Estacada. Additionally, a macro plan is addressing an 80-kilometer stretch in the Páez municipality to improve connectivity between Guasdualito and the border region.
