Maracaibo inaugurates new creative robotics headquarters

A new robotics headquarters has been inaugurated in Maracaibo, Zulia, serving as the first seat for the Venezuelan Federation of Creative Robotics. The facility was developed through a partnership between the Maracaibo Mayor's Office and the Ministry of Science and Technology (Mincyt).

Located in the Don Bosco sector of the Olegario Villalobos parish, the center occupies a former community center that had fallen into ruin. The renovated space is equipped with internet connectivity, computers, and robotics kits. The facility includes specialized classrooms for programming, electronics, mechanics, and three-dimensional design.

According to Ana Clara Barboza de Di Martino, the first lady of Maracaibo, the center is intended to serve as a model for academic training and management for children, adolescents, and adults across the western region of the country.
