Maracaibo Municipality restores historic Santa Rosalía Market

The Maracaibo Municipality is executing a total restoration of the historic Santa Rosalía Market. The project involves deep infrastructure work to ensure efficient basic services, including the rehabilitation of domestic gas networks, sewage, and potable water supplies supervised by the Municipal Housing Institute (IVIMA).

Key technical advancements include the waterproofing of 700 square meters of roofing and the installation of 800 new metal sheets in the central nave. Remaining minor interventions are scheduled for the butchery section and sanitary modules. Mayor Giancarlo Di Martino is expected to announce the official reopening date for the commercial center soon.
