Maracaibo receives 70 transformers to address electrical failures

The Maracaibo Mayor's Office has received 70 transformers to address electrical service failures across its 18 parishes. This is part of a larger distribution of 376 transformers intended for the 21 municipalities of Zulia state by the national government.

Zulia Governor Luis Caldera stated that these efforts, following a previous delivery of 520 units, aim to assist approximately 13,000 families through equipment replacement in various municipalities and communities. The transformers are Venezuelan-made, including units produced at the General in Jefe Rafael Urdaneta workshop located at the Corpoelec headquarters in Amparo.

The deployment involves coordinated efforts between the three levels of government, Corpoelec crews, and local municipalities providing technical support such as cranes and personnel. Beneficiary communities were identified through the '1x10 del Buen Gobierno' platform as part of a stabilization plan for the Zulia electrical system.
