Maracanã Stadium hosts official tours and Pelé commemorative race

The Maracanã Stadium in Rio de Janeiro offers a daily official tour operated by Viva Maracanã. Visitors can access the locker rooms, press room, pitch, and a historical archive exhibition. The tour, which runs from 9:00 to 17:00, allows guests to walk at their own pace with the assistance of monitors. Optional activities include a goal-kicking experience on the pitch, drone filming, and personalized videos.

Additionally, the stadium will host the ‘Corrida do Futebol Light – Edição Pelé’ on November 14. Organized by Effect Sport in partnership with Pelé Brand, the nighttime street race celebrates the milestone of Pelé’s 1,000th career goal, which occurred at the stadium in 1969. The event features 4 km and 8 km courses, relay categories, and children’s races, followed by entertainment and commercial activations.
