Otaviano Pivetta leads Mato Grosso gubernatorial polls

Recent polling data for the Mato Grosso gubernatorial election indicates that incumbent Otaviano Pivetta is positioned to win in the first round. Multiple institutes, including Quaest, MT Dados, and AtlasIntel, report Pivetta leading with valid vote percentages ranging from 50.6% to 54.3%.

In the Quaest survey, Pivetta holds 54% of valid votes, followed by Wellington Fagundes at 28% and Doutora Natasha at 13%. The MT Dados survey shows a similar trend, with Pivetta at 50.6%, Fagundes at 27.7%, and Doutora Natasha at 16.9%. The Instituto Veritá also places Pivetta at 53.7%, with Fagundes at 27.1% and Doutora Natasha at 16.3%.

While the results suggest a potential first-round victory, some statistical models note that the margin of error—between two and three percentage points—means the race remains mathematically open for a second round.
