Maranhão business association launches ACM Vantagens app on 172nd anniversary

The Associação Comercial do Maranhão (ACM), the state’s oldest business organization, celebrated its 172nd anniversary in August. On 5 August the association unveiled the ACM Vantagens mobile application during a breakfast ceremony at the Fecomércio‑MA auditorium. The app consolidates member benefits such as discounts on products and services, special health‑plan rates, meal‑ticket offers, and provides news, event listings and institutional information. President Antonio Gaspar said the launch marks a new phase of modernization and a commitment to delivering concrete value to members.

As part of the anniversary programme, ACM announced further events: the Maranhão Mais Negócios forum on 12 August, featuring panels on tax‑reform impacts and trade opportunities with China, as well as a business‑matching round. The week will close with the sixth edition of the Collab Jovem initiative on 13 August, aimed at fostering young leadership and innovation.
