Maranhão prosecutors investigate Milvolts contracts in Estreito

The Public Ministry of Maranhão (MPMA) has launched a civil inquiry to investigate suspicious financial activities involving Milvolts Peças Ltda. and its contracts with the City Hall of Estreito.

The investigation was triggered by a Financial Intelligence Report from COAF, which identified transactions deemed atypical and incompatible with the company's economic capacity. The municipality of Estreito is listed as one of the primary public depositors for the company, which holds contracts for supplying parts and accessories to the municipal fleet.

Authorities are working to determine if these financial movements are linked to irregularities in public procurement or service execution, and whether there was administrative misconduct or damage to public funds.
