Marantz AV amplifiers see significant price cuts in Japan

Marantz AV amplifiers, specifically the CINEMA 70s and CINEMA 50 models, have undergone significant price reductions at major Japanese retailers including Yodobashi Camera and Bic Camera.

The slimline CINEMA 70s, which supports 7.2 channel surround sound and object audio formats like Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, has been reduced from 154,000 yen to 99,000 yen. The larger CINEMA 50 model, featuring 9 channels of power amplification and support for up to 11.4 channel processing, has seen a price drop from 286,000 yen to 176,000 yen.

Both models represent the first generation of Marantz's redesigned chassis aesthetics introduced in late 2022. Retailers are also offering 10% point rewards on these purchases.
