Marathón player Carlos “Chuy” Pérez fined for unsportsmanlike conduct

The Disciplinary Commission has issued several sanctions following the match between Marathón and Olimpia at the Morazán Stadium. Marathón player Carlos “Chuy” Pérez was fined 10,000 lempiras for unsportsmanlike conduct and mocking a rival after making a gesture toward Félix García.

Additionally, Edrick Menjívar was fined 5,000 lempiras for provoking the Marathón fanbase, and Félix García received a 5,000 lempira fine for pushing an opponent. Olimpia was also ordered to pay 6,000 lempiras due to six players receiving yellow cards during the match.
