Casablanca prepares for 17th annual Crédit du Maroc Marathon

The 17th edition of the Crédit du Maroc Casablanca Marathon is scheduled to take place on Sunday, October 25, 2026. Organized by the Association des Coureurs du Grand Casablanca (ACGC), the event is expected to attract thousands of participants, including elite athletes and amateur runners, showcasing the city's culture and promoting Morocco as a destination for international sporting events.

Due to the race, significant traffic disruptions are expected in several Casablanca neighborhoods between 6:00 and 14:00. Road closures and access difficulties will affect areas including Bourgogne, the Art Deco district, CIL, Casablanca Finance City (CFC), Hay Hassani, and Aïn Diab. The ACGC has advised residents, professionals, and motorists to plan their journeys accordingly and follow local instructions to ensure the safety of both runners and spectators.
