Maratona Fila reaches 5,000 registrants for São Paulo event

The fifth edition of the Maratona Fila is scheduled for August 23 at the University of São Paulo (USP). The event has reached a record 5,000 registrants and will serve as a marketing platform for the brand to promote its new Speedzone 2 running shoe.

Fila has organized various activities at the USP Sports Practice Center (Cepeusp) to allow both amateur and professional athletes to test the new technology. These include biomechanics demonstrations and a treadmill challenge where participants attempt to maintain a pace of 3 minutes and 18 seconds per kilometer to win footwear. The marathon has also been restructured to include 10.5 km and 21 km distances to attract a broader audience.
