Maratonina Blu Jonio registration opens for Sicily race

Registration is now open for the 14th edition of the Maratonina Blu Jonio, a prominent half-marathon event in Sicily. The race is scheduled for Sunday, October 24, 2026, with the start and finish located in Riposto. The course will pass through the waterfront areas of Mascali and Fiumefreddo di Sicilia.

In addition to the half-marathon, participants can enter the 2nd Trofeo della Contea, a 10.2 km race held on the same route. Organizers have noted that athletes who register by midnight on Friday, September 18, can benefit from a reduced entry fee and will receive the official race shirt. Registration remains open until Monday, October 19, though later entries will incur higher costs and will not include the official race merchandise.
