Marbella allocates funds to Acosol for social inclusion

The Marbella City Council has allocated 57,234 euros to the entity Acosol to support social inclusion programs. This funding aims to maintain food assistance, vocational training, and labor market integration for individuals at risk of social exclusion.

Through a new collaboration agreement, the initiative focuses on distributing perishable and non-perishable food products. In the previous fiscal year, Acosol distributed over 68,000 kilograms of food, benefiting approximately 1,450 residents.

Beyond immediate food aid, the program emphasizes long-term autonomy through employment training. Recent data indicates that 158 users participated in the socio-labor inclusion program, with 59 individuals successfully securing jobs. In the first half of 2026, 38 labor insertions have already been recorded in Marbella.
