Marbella and Cáceres launch local cultural celebrations

Marbella is launching several initiatives to celebrate Hispanidad Day. The city council will distribute free Spanish flags to citizens at various locations, including tourism offices in Plaza de los Naranjos, El Faro, and San Pedro Alcántara, as well as district offices in Nueva Andalucía and Las Chapas. Additionally, 124 street lamps will be decorated with banners in public spaces across Marbella, Nueva Andalucía, and San Pedro Alcántara between October 8 and October 20.

In Cáceres, the city is marking the 40th anniversary of its designation as a UNESCO World Heritage site. To include all residents in the celebration, the city council is distributing 3,000 portable water and food bowls for pets. Residents can collect these items at the Plaza Mayor Tourism Office by bringing their pets, as part of a broader series of activities intended to commemorate the milestone that transformed the city into a major historical destination.
