Marbella beach violations exceed previous summer total
Marbella has recorded 237 municipal regulation violations on its beaches between late June and early August, surpassing the total number of infractions from the entire previous summer season.
The majority of these interventions, totaling 193 reports, involve illegal street vending of items such as sunglasses, bags, clothing, and watches. Local authorities have also taken action against unauthorized food sales, unlicensed massages, and the presence of pets in restricted beach zones.
To manage the high influx of visitors, the city maintains a security presence consisting of 15 local police officers, 80 guards, 17 surveillance towers, and a coordination point at La Bajadilla beach. The deployment also includes three ambulances and three jet skis to ensure safety and coastal order.
