Marbella celebrates 13th Moraga Popular with sardine distribution
The 13th edition of the Moraga Popular took place in Marbella, where approximately 1,700 kilograms of sardines were distributed to residents and visitors. Organized by the Marbella City Council in collaboration with the Cofradía de Pescadores, the event was held simultaneously across four coastal locations: San Pedro Alcántara, Puerto Banús, Marbella, and Las Chapas.
In addition to the sardines prepared as 'espetos', the event provided 1,000 kilograms of chopped tomato salad, bread, and beverages. Mayor Ángeles Muñoz noted that the celebration marks the end of the high tourist season and highlighted record-breaking employment and occupancy data for the region.
